The Maintenance Officer will be required to supervise the Maintenance team to ensure timely maintenance and continuous improvement of buildings, systems, and equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and uninterrupted operations.
Main duties
Perform regular maintenance practices on property and equipment to reduce the occurrence of workplace accident.
To conduct regular inspection in order to identify faulty equipment and perform repairs.
Inspect the building’s plumbing, electrical and ventilation systems and conduct maintenance and repair work wherever necessary.
Ensure refrigeration unit is up and running at all times.
Monitor and inspect goods and passenger lift operations to identify and repair faults.
Perform testing on fire alarms, RCD and emergency lighting systems and report any faults to Maintenance Manager when necessary.
Follow up with pest control provider to ensure proper pest management at regular intervals.
Required skills / Qualifications
NTC 1 or 2 in Electrical/Air Conditioning/Refrigeration System
3+ years of experience as a Maintenance Officer/Supervisor
Strong knowledge of building trades and maintenance.
Solid understanding of health and safety regulations and practices.
Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines.
Computer literate with capability in email, MS Office and related communication tools.
Holder of a Valid Driving License (Private Car)
Knowledge of cold storage and ammonia refrigeration is a plus.
Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
